What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Well it's a new year and I have alot to look forward to this year!!! I am just over 6 weeks away from having a baby boy which my husband and I are super excited about. We have decorated his little room and we are all stocked up on baby essential, not going to go as far as to say we are prepared as I am pretty sure we are in for a huge shock but it's one we cannot wait for!!! I seem to be rather lacking in the nesting dept however, so thought I would take this opportunity not only to join in on WOYWW but also to show you all the shamefull state that my craft room has gotten into!!! Back last year we moved my craft romm to the middle sized room in the hope that more space wouls mean more organisation. . . all it really menat was that I had more room to buy more things!!! Then we got pregnant and crafting fell to the bottom of my to do list. I think that if I dont get it sorted this week then the chances are we will have to seal it shut and stick a biohazard sticker on the door!!! So the aim is to be back here by next wednesday with a nice tidy craft desk and room for that matter!!! Here are the awful pics in question. . . WISH ME LUCK!!!

The way that you described it, I was surprised when I saw the photos - it's not much of a mess at all - hope you get it sorted. What an exciting time with the birth of the baby quite soon now - hope you keep well - thanks for the peep at your workspace today (Hazel, WOYWW 67) x

Get it sorted now before the little 'un arrives, cos it won't get done afterwards, lol!!
See from your profile that you're in Bridgend - my auntie lives in North Cornelly, I'm from Llanelli way!

Gawd, if that qualifies for sealing and hazard stickers, I'm in trouble! It's only the work surface that actually seems in need of a tidy, but what do I know? You realise that you've got two electronic die cutters don't you?!! But yes Stacey, take your own advice...get it sorted before the baby arrives...because if you haven't got time after he gets here, it'll bug the hell out of you!!

Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your son!

First off, I like that wall paper.... and I'm not a wall paper fan. Goes quite well in a craft area, me thinks.

You should have a poke around - your area isn't that messy!

Oh my gosh! It looks like home to me. I was waiting to see a really bad mess. You've got away to go though.

I think that nesting thing will kick in near the very end of your pregnancy when you can hardly move. Then you'll be asking all your friends to move furniture around. And around. And around.

It really is not as bad as you described? I was looking for mountains ready to topple over. lol...I wish you luck in the cleaning process this week and hope you can get it exactly the way you want it.

Your craft room doesn't look too bad. I'd still have to clean it up too, though!

It's kind of like when you go to the pool, there's always someone that looks worse than you. There's always a craft room worse than yours ;) I don't think it looks bad at all! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!!

The first 2 pics of your shelves are postively clean and tidy! Okay, maybe the next couple of pics could use a bit of tidying but it is not too bad at all. And it is tidier than my shelves, lol!
Congratulations on the baby boy to be!! That is exciting news!!

OKey dokey! Good luck on the crafting and on that amazing gift you're about to 'open'. I didn't think I could make art when I was younger...because I held my babies full time...but with my granddaughter...whom I also hold all the time...I manage to get a lot done. She works right along and beside me and it's a happy time. Best to you!
