Well it has finally happened. . . I have destroyed my very first cutting plates for my big shot!!! I have had my big shot for about 4 years maybe 5 and about 5 minutes ago I had my first fatality!!! It was my fault too as I was trying to get my machine to do something I am sure it is not supposed to do, but if I don't experiment how will I ever learn!!! I have more plates so the crafting will not stop but it is a sad time for all concerned as we say goodbye to a well loved friend!!!

I am desperatly trying to build up some stock so I can do some craft fairs over the next few months, but it is proving a challenge with all the other stuff I have to do! Still I do love being so bust with crafty things so not complaint!! Anyway here is another easel card. I am using the Kenny K image again I just love her and I have left a space at the bottom of the card so that a name or a greeting can be added !!!

Just a quick one today. I have had these mini cards in my stash for a few years now and decided to do something with them. I have just stamped them with some inkadinkadoo stamps. I also stamped the envelopes to match.

I must start off this weeks post with an announcement!!! I have decided to step down from the Polka Doodles Design Team!!! I am very upset about this decision but I am just unable to give Nikky the time and dedication that she needs and deserves. The whole team each week pull off the most amazing creations and I am lucky if I can get in 2 challenge cards a month. I wish Nikky and the rest of the team all the best and I want to thank firstly Enfys for spotting me in the first place and Nikky for making me a part of her wonderful team.

There must be a bit of trickery going on at Polka Doodles!! It seems that Brenda has gone and read my mind!!! She has set the challenge this week and the challenge is to make an easel card!!!! Now as you may have noticed I LOVE easel cards!!! So I set to work using the fab new CD which Nikky has just launched at Harrogate it is called Sundae of Seasons!!! She will be on Create and craft on the 20th I believe so tune in and take a look!!! It has sooooo many great images I love the Mummy image so I used all 3 from the sheet that I printed out and just cut around him, nothing else needed doind to the image he is just perfect!!! I have teamed the image up with the Halloween download over at Polka Doodles. The papers in this download are super spooky all they needed was some ink and some distressing!!! I added it to some corrugated orange card and set about layering my Mummys! I stuck the one on the left flat, the one on the right is mounted onto 3D foam pads and the one in the centre has 2 springs made from strong card so he really pops out!!! To finish off the card I have used a computer generated greeting. Check out the show for the new CD and hopefully a look at some of my creations!!!

It turns out I am in love with easel cards!!! They are so cool!!! This time I have used my Madly In Love download from DCWV added a bit of inking to the edge, I have cut a skull from Indy Arts stamped and inked that then added a bow from some ribbon I had in my stash!!!

I stumbled across these awesome stamps on a blog about 2 weeks ago ( sorry cannot remember who it was ) and I followed the link for the shop and to my amazement I discovered a whole range of images that were just soooo awesome I had to buy some! This is Vikki Lee Vicious and she is bloody awesome!!! I am almost sure this is what I look like in another dimension!!! Anywho. . . I got out my promarkers and set to work. She is quite tricky to colour as she has lots of little sections so I have printed her out quite big!!! I have made the base card another easel card ( I am addicted to them now ) and it is black. I cut a piece of red card for the front of the card and I have inked around the edges. For the silver bit I have used my cuttlebug embossing folder to make it look like metal and finished off with a random set of red lips I had in my stash!!! The bit that holds the easel up is a strip of red card inked up at the edges again and stamped with Inkadinkadoo rockstar stamps and I added some metal hot fix skulls for added awesomeness ( think I just made that word up )

I have admired Haunted Design House from afar but this week I could not resist the Macabre Monday Challenge. This week is pink on the brink and I just love pink so I thought this was a perfect time for my first entry to their challenges. I made an easel card so that is my second first of today, the easel itself is black cardstock. The front is a piece of hot pink card which I have distressed around the edges with black ink and I have layered onto this a DCWV download from the madly in Love stack, again I have inked this with black ink. The image is from the greeting farm who I have just recemtly fallen in love with and she is called creepy cupcake!!! I have coloured her in with promarkers and added spots with a sakura souffle pen and added some topping to the cupcakes with 3D paint. The flowers have been cut out with my scallop nesties and sprayed with water and totally abused until they looked like flowers then I let them dry. In the top left hand corner is a tiny blue flower that I made using ribbon and topped with a gem and hidining behind that is a feather ( loving feathers at the moment ) The whole topper is finished off with some ribbon.

I seem to be getting more and more request for wedding invitations which is fab as I just love to make them! I pretend its my wedding, I swear my next wedding will be amazing ( my first was wonderful ) but I can do soooo much better no than I could then!!! Might have to divorce Konrad just to get married to him again! Yes he is soooo great I would marry him twice!! Anyway back to the samples!!! I have been asked to make invites for winter wedding and the lady wanted sparkles and feathers I put together a few samples and this is my fav ( this isn't the actual one she has picked ) but this is my fav and going into my range!!! A simple square card with a very wide bit of white lace, I printed out the wedding invitation message and layered it onto some silver sparkle card and placed that onto the centre of the lace and added some gems for good measure. Next I cut 2 hearts using my big shot ( on sale at Hobbycraft ) and layered them with 3D foam. I then wanted to add some beading and hearts but I didn't want to buy a spray so I made one ( 1st attempt so not too bad ) this was then wrapped around the feather and stuck between tohe 2 hearts.




The next picture is the evening invitation which is C6 in size and is like a postcard with the info printed out and backed onto some dark silver sparkle card and some added ribbon bows and gems. You will have to excuse my rubbish editing skills - I didn't want to put the lady's phone number up so I just took it out whilst resizing the picture, it will do!!!

I love this digi stamp from the greetings farm, and this is my first card with her!!!
